A lot of preventing back pain is strengthening your core. I'd suggest looking up 'mcgill big three back exercises'. Hopefully you can still do them, and build strength as you grow.
Also supportive, soft, shoes so you are not jolting your joints and back.
For non back stuff, just from reading not personal experience,
- a long handled shoe horn, and elastic shoe laces
- a heavy duty folding chair (lawn chair type idea) so that you are not worried about having a place to sit at outdoor events
